Protein + amino acids

A single milk droplet meeting a white pool.

01 · Protein + amino acids

Whey Protein Isolate

15 g

Physical stress raises the body’s demand for protein to help maintain muscle mass. Whey delivers all nine essential amino acids — including leucine, isoleucine, and valine — that serve as building blocks for muscle protein synthesis.†

Isolate is highly purified to remove nearly all lactose and fat while preserving a complete essential amino acid profile.

Contains milk.

Raw pumpkin seeds, warm side light.

02 · Protein + amino acids

L-Arginine

7 g

Arginine is a conditionally essential amino acid whose demand can outpace the body’s own supply during periods of physical stress. It participates in nitric oxide production, normal immune function, and collagen formation.†

Produced through microbial fermentation from plant-based carbon sources rather than animal-protein hydrolysis, for a pure, free-form L-arginine.

What does the research show?

What the research studied: Most perioperative research studied arginine as one component of multi-nutrient immunonutrition formulas — typically alongside omega-3 fatty acids and nucleotides — particularly in major surgical populations.

What that means for PREP: PREP includes arginine as part of a broader nutritional formulation but does not replicate those immunonutrition formulas. Research on those formulas should not be interpreted as evidence that PREP itself produces the same surgical outcomes.

Why Pineapple Passion?

A serious formula should taste good, too.

PREP contains 7 g of L-arginine and 5 g of L-glutamine. That’s a lot of amino acids to make taste good. Arginine, in particular, is naturally bitter.

We didn’t want patients to dread their daily drink.

So we created Pineapple Passion—a bright, refreshing tropical flavor, lightly sweetened with cane sugar and stevia leaf extract.

No thick, heavy shake. Just one scoop mixed into cold water.

A cut pineapple with the words: Prepare your body for what’s ahead. Because what you do before matters.

Questions patients ask

Straight answers.

Why do surgeons stop supplements before surgery?

Mainly to avoid hidden botanicals and blood thinners that can affect bleeding or interact with anesthesia.

Supplements also don’t always contain what the label says.

PREP™ is blended in a cGMP facility and tested for identity, purity & potency, with zero herbal ingredients, 0 mg Vitamin E and every amount disclosed. You pause at least 24 hours before surgery. Always follow your surgical team.

What does it taste like?

Light, crisp pineapple — almost like Sunny D. Not thick vanilla sludge.

It mixes smooth into cold water, with no chalkiness. Easy on a sensitive stomach.

Prefer a smoothie?

Blend it with frozen berries, yogurt or coconut water.

I already have protein powder. Why PREP™?

Protein is critical. But it’s only 1 of 23 ingredients.

If you don’t buy PREP™, please hit your protein targets before and after surgery.

Surgery also asks for Vitamin C, Zinc and Copper for healing, plus immune, fluid and gut support. PREP™ puts 22 of these around 15 g of whey isolate, so you don’t juggle pill bottles.

Why gut support before surgery?

Anesthesia, pain medicine and fasting can slow your gut. PREP™ supports it before surgery and continues for 7 days after.

How do I show this to my care team?

Share the Clinical Ingredient Passport. Every form and amount is listed for your surgeon or pre-op nurse to review.

My surgeon said to stop all supplements. Should I stop PREP™?

Send your surgical team the Clinical Ingredient Passport and ask them to review it. Many “stop all supplements” instructions exist because teams can’t see what’s in a product.

Some teams are comfortable with PREP™ once they’ve reviewed it; others still prefer you pause it. Either way, follow your surgical team’s final instructions.

I already take a greens powder or wellness stack. Can I just use that?

Around surgery, probably not. Greens and wellness blends often contain herbs and botanicals that are held before surgery, and proprietary blends can’t be reviewed quickly.

PREP™ has no herbs, no botanicals and no proprietary blends, with every amount disclosed. Always share your full supplement list with your surgical team.

Can I keep taking my other supplements or multivitamin with PREP™?

Maybe — but review the full list with your care team, because PREP’s vitamins and minerals can overlap or add up with a multivitamin or other products. Share the Clinical Ingredient Passport alongside your other supplements so your team can see the totals and tell you what to keep, adjust, or pause before surgery. Their instructions come first.
